Milwaukee [1] is often mentioned for its nearly 20 golf courses within a short drive. Most prominent in the near vicinity is Brown Deer Park (7835 N. Green Bay Rd., 414/352-8080), site of a PGA tour event, the U.S. Bank Championship; for a public course, it’s amazing. Whitnall and Oakwood Parks also have excellent courses.
