The only hotel in North Philadelphia is part of Temple University’s campus. Just a quick subway ride from Center City, it’s a great option for visitors to the university, but there isn’t any other reason to stay in this part of town, since it’s further from most of the attractions.

While the campus is generally considered safe, many parts of North Philadelphia are considered sketchy at night and there isn’t much in the way of dining and cultural attractions. That said, the 22-room hotel ($135–159) is perfectly nice, and it’s smack in the middle of campus on Broad Street.
