Built in 1889 by prominent Philadelphia [2] architect Willis Hale, this restored Victorian mansion is one of the most popular bed-and-breakfasts in West Philadelphia. Innkeepers Warren Cederholm and Don Caskey create a beautiful, friendly atmosphere in the 10-room mansion decked out in antique furniture.
A large wraparound porch is a lovely place to relax and chat with fellow guests. Despite the cozy, historic atmosphere, modern amenities in the rooms include air-conditioning, cable television, phones, VCRs, and WiFi.
Most rooms, which range from $105–165, have private baths, but two of them share a bath; see the website for detailed descriptions of each unique space.
A computer station, refrigerator, and microwave are available for guest use in the common area, and the homemade breakfast is excellent.
