If you’ll be spending a lot of time exploring the city’s major museums—including the Philadelphia Museum of Art [1] and the Franklin Institute [2]—this is a great base.
An easy walk to Center City West and the Fairmount neighborhood, and close to Fairmount Park, the Benjamin Franklin Parkway itself is home to primarily chain hotels, including the Sheraton, Embassy Suites, Crowne Plaza, and the impressive Four Seasons [3].
The area is very popular with business travelers, but can also make a good base for tourists.
