Shopping Districts

Several major shopping districts that contain a wealth of shops in a concentrated area make excellent starting points. Center City is one big shopping district, with stores lining Broad Street and spreading out to the east and west.

And don’t miss Chestnut Hill [1] and Manayunk [2], the two shopping areas in the northwest section of Philadelphia [3] unique enough to attract even the downtown crowd.

In addition to being home to lots of shops, all of these districts are characterized by their own distinctive style and atmosphere, making them an enjoyable place to stroll.
