It takes a certain level of mastery to use puppets to tell the story of, say, the Holocaust. But trust Mum Puppettheatre to appropriate the quintessentially childhood medium to tell sophisticated, adult stories—like Animal Farm, for example.
The talented 20-year-old company stages shows specifically for kids as well, with almost-yearly productions of The Velveteen Rabbit and A Christmas Carol, as well as a series of original plays starring the curiously named Fantocci Brothers.
