12th Air Command

The largest gay venue in Philly [2], 12th Air Command has five bars on three levels and a large roof deck with panoramic views of the downtown skyline. It also offers pub food and dancing, and since it’s rarely full, it usually ends up being more of a chill hangout to shoot pool than the throbbing dance palace it thrives to be.

However, 12th Air is more adventurous in its programming than other clubs, offering Roman gladiators and Asian-themed parties. And a renovated dance floor offers hope that it may one day bring on the club atmosphere the space is capable of, at full force.
