Like a beautiful old mansion taken over by squatters, Transit is both a little run down and a little posh. Resembling an Eastern European super-club, it’s massive and full of sin.

The cavernous former bank has three floors, three bars, and quite a few nooks and crannies to get lost in. The scene varies drastically depending on the night, from goth to gangsta to indie to pop.

When parties are good here, like the legendary Making Time events held every few months, Transit epitomizes “going out dancing.” It’s also open late, sometimes very, very late, like 6 a.m.
