Part diner and part dance club, Silk City is your one-stop shop for Saturday night. Formerly a truck stop called DeeDee’s Diner, a hole-in-the-wall serving cheap booze and beer out of questionable taps, it’s now one of the most popular spots in Northern Liberties, with one side a chic restaurant where you’re more likely to order tuna tartare than eggs and toast.
An adjoining club/lounge hosts popular deejays on weekend nights and sometimes live bands.
