This contemporary Japanese restaurant with a full sushi bar is a popular Chestnut Hill favorite. The traditional decor includes a Tatami room, but the kitchen turns out modern Asian fusion offerings like lobster ravioli and Carribean snapper.

While it’s all tasty, it’s hard to beat the classic sushi, sashimi, and nigiri—always fresh and delicious. The specialty rolls are inventive; try the Hong Kong Dragon and North Shore Rolls.

Osaka has in the past received “Best of” awards from Citysearch, Zagat, and even the Wall Street Journal for their sushi.
