Many people rarely venture across the bridge into West Philly for dinner. Even though it’s just a hop away, there is something about the area being separated from Center City by a body of water that creates a mental block.
When they do cross the water, many wonder why they don’t do it more often. With so many affordable restaurants, many serving a variety of ethnic cuisine, it is well worth “the trip.”
There are a few great options directly on and around Penn’s [1] campus, including Sansom Street off 34th, the Baltimore Avenue corridor, and the area around the Bridge movie theater at 40th and Walnut Streets.
