Another upscale addition to this now-trendy section of 13th Street, Capogiro Gelato Artisans provides customers with deliciously dense, creamy, traditional Italian ice creams in countless fruity and savory flavors that change with the seasons.
In addition to the traditional flavors like hazelnut and strawberry, there are innovative ones like rosemary/honey/goats milk and mascarpone fig.
Ideal for a sweet ending to a date or a break in the middle of a day of shopping, Capogiro has expanded to a second location (Map 3, 117 S. 20th St.) near Rittenhouse and distributes through several local markets.
Not your grandmother’s ice cream cone, a small will cost you close to $5, but it is worth every cent.
