The sleek, modern lounge-like decor of 1225 Raw Sushi and Sake Lounge comes complete with red walls, a bamboo ceiling, and high-backed booths, with a welcoming outdoor courtyard with additional seating.

An array of creative salads, meat dishes, and cooked plates does not disappoint, but the highlight of the menu is definitely the sushi. The chef turns out generous and beautiful portions of fresh sashimi, maki, and nigiri in inventive combinations.

The full bar serves beer, wine, and specialty drinks, many made with sake from the extensive selection. Try a flight of four different types of sake, or the omakase (chef’s tasting menu) offered Monday–Thursday.
