Sprawling along the southern shores of the lake, Lake Mayfield offers a spate of lodging options at its full-service property. The waterfront resort is well positioned for boat-owners, with a marina that includes a boat ramp and eight docks. You can choose between one- and two-bedroom condo units ($150–189), all with full kitchens, satellite television, and air conditioning.
The resort also offers a large cabin it likes to call The Best Little Oarhouse ($255), which features a view of the lake on its patio with barbecue, plus a full kitchen and four bedrooms outfitted with queen beds. If that is a bit much for your taste, you can also choose between two rustic one-room cabins ($30–70). Neither have bathrooms, but there are public bathrooms and coin-op showers on the property.
