Forest Service campgrounds provide in-the-woods lodging options in the Skykomish [1] vicinity. Beckler River and Money Creek (518/885-3639 or 877/444-6777, www.recreation.gov [2], $16, $9 extra reservation fee) are open late May through September. Beckler River is two miles north of Skykomish on Forest Road 65. Money Creek is four miles west of Skykomish and right along Highway 2.
Two other, more primitive places—Troublesome Creek and San Juan Campgrounds—are near Jack Pass [3].
