Several cozy lodges dot the valley around Winthrop, including Brown’s Farm Inn (Wolf Creek Rd., 509/996-2571, www.methownet.com/brownsfarm , $80–95 d, or $10 per additional guest), nestled into tranquil corner of the Methow Valley  eight miles west of Winthrop.
