It also offers microwaves, fridges, and coffeemakers, though there are no phones. Spring for the king rooms to get a flat-screen TV and DVD player.
Eagles Nest Motel (46346 Hwy. 20, 360/853-8662, $45 s or $50 d) offers simple motel rooms and also has space for tents and RVs.
Five miles west of Concrete [1], Cascade Mountain Inn B&B (360/826-4333, www.cascade-mtn-inn.com [3], $240 s or d) offers a cozy stay. Most of the five guest rooms have views of Sauk Mountain, and each has a private bath. Full breakfast is included, and kids are not permitted.

Ovenell’s Heritage Inn B&B (4442 Concrete Sauk Valley Rd., 360/853-8494, www.ovenells-inn.com [4], $135–160 s or d) sits inside a 1915 ranch house with. A full breakfast is served. The inn also rents a guesthouse with full kitchen, and new cabins with kitchens that sleep four.
Visit Concrete’s Saturday Market, where produce, crafts, baked goods, and art are offered for sale 9 a.m.–4 p.m. every Saturday mid-May through August.
