The riverside town of Sedro-Woolley is a town in transition. The decline of the logging industry in recent years has hit hard, forcing the town to look elsewhere for an economic base. It remains a commercial center for the farmlands that surround it, while becoming an outfitting town for adventurers on their way east into North Cascades National Park [1].
This odd amalgam is reflected in two downtown buildings. One is home to a gun association (the U.S. Practical Shooting Association); the other houses an organic foods company (Cascadian Farm).
