Mount Baker [1] offers one of the most challenging and rewarding climbs in the cascades. This one is not for beginners, so don’t attempt to climb Mt. Baker without previous alpine climbing experience. The trail begins from Road 39 off Mt. Baker Highway [2] and gains 1,500 feet along the way.
