If you’re not already all dammed-out, take a stretch break at Rocky Reach Dam (509/663-8121, www.chelanpud.org [1], 8 a.m.–6 p.m. daily Memorial Day–Labor Day, 8 a.m.–4 p.m. daily in the spring and fall, closed Jan.–mid-Feb.), one of the more unusual and interesting visitor attractions in Washington.
The 4,800-foot-long dam and nicely landscaped surroundings offer boating, fishing, picnicking, a museum, interpretive center, and viewable fish ladder.
