Get groceries at the Mercantile (352 S. Shore Rd., 360/288-2620, hours vary—call ahead) across the road from Quinault Lodge. The snack bar sells pizzas, burgers, milk shakes, espresso, and sandwiches.
Quite good meals are available at Quinault Lodge (360/288-2571, entrées $14–20) and just up the road at Rain Forest Resort (360/288-2535). The tiny village of Amanda Park on the west end of the lake along Highway 101 has a fine old country store with narrow aisles and sloping wooden floors.
