The obvious pick in La Push [1] for lodging, Quileute Oceanside Resort (320 Ocean Dr., 360/374-5267, www.quileutenation.org [2], $45–240 s or d,) offers a range of options, everything from bare-bones camper cabins and simple motel rooms on up to duplex units and brand new cabins facing the breathtaking seastacks.
It is activities central at Three Rivers Resort (360/374-5300, www.northolympic.com/threerivers [3], $59–69 up to 4), which offers guided fishing trips, horseback rides, and float trips at the intersection of La Push and Mora Roads (halfway between Forks and La Push). This pet-friendly establishment is also a good spot to bring Spot.
Manitou Lodge (360/374-6295, www.manitoulodge.com [4], $139–179 d) is a modern country lodge on 10 acres of forested land off Mora Road. Seven luxurious guest rooms with private baths are $85–125 s or d, including a full breakfast. Also on the property are two cedar-shingle camping cabins ($65–99 d) available spring through fall only. Book up to six months ahead for summer weekends. A gift shop here sells quality baskets, woodcarvings, and beadwork.
Olson’s Resort (3243 Mora Rd., 360/374-3142, $80) has space for up to five in a cozy and quiet cabin with a kitchen, just 2.5 miles from Rialto Beach [5].
There are no restaurants in La Push, but you can get locally famous burgers plus soups and sandwiches east of town at Three Rivers Resort (360/374-5300, 11 a.m.–9 p.m.).
