One block north of Highway 101 lies the Museum and Arts Center (175 W. Cedar St., 360/683-8110, www.macsequim.org [1], 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Mon.–Sat., 1–4 p.m. Sun., donation requested). Built to store the 12,000-year-old tusks, bones, and artifacts unearthed at Sequim’s [2] famous Manis Mastodon Site, the museum has branched out to include several antique cedar bark baskets, pioneer farming displays, and timber exhibits.
