The Scandia Midsommarfest in June brings Scandinavian food, music, Norwegian folk dancers, and dancing around the midsummer pole for a solstice celebration.
On the third Saturday of October, the First Lutheran Church puts on a Traditional Lutefisk Dinner, with Swedish meatballs for the wimps.
The holiday season brings the Yule Fest in late November or early December, featuring Norwegian folk dancers, lighting of the Yule log, and a guest appearance by Santa Claus by boat. A Lighted Boat Parade follows in mid-December.
