Picked up by the city from the Navy in 2000, South Lake Union Park (860 Terry Ave. N) has turned out to be one of Seattle’s [1] prettiest waterfront spot, with plenty of grassy areas to loll about and watch kayakers paddle, motorboats putt-putt along, and seaplanes swoop over Lake Union [2].
