Travelers checks (unless issued by U.S. banks) are accepted in some tourist restaurants, hotels, and foreign-goods stores. They can also be cashed at most hotel cashier desks, as well as at banks. You should not enter the date or the place when signing your checks—a quirky Cuban requirement.
