The Coloquio Internacional Hemingway (International Hemingway Colloquium), takes place in early July every odd-numbered year.
The amateurish Carnaval de la Habana (Carnival in Havana, tel. 07/832-3742, atic [at] cubarte [dot] cult [dot] cu) is now held the first or second week of August on the Malecón.
