Get an early start at Graceland [6] and beat the crowds. Ponder the meaning of Elvis over barbecue from the Interstate Bar-B-Que [7] at lunch. Make a detour to Sun Studio [8], where Elvis cut his first records, and then take an afternoon stroll along the Mighty Mississippi at Tom Lee Park [9]. Enjoy a fine dinner at the Inn at Hunt Phelan [4].
Ride the trolley to the National Civil Rights Museum [10]. Spend the afternoon at the Stax Museum of American Soul Music [11]. Go back to Beale Street [12] for a late afternoon stroll. Grab a cold one and listen to the blues. Make it an early or a late night: your choice.
