Tucked on Nolensville Pike, the land of ethnic eateries, is one of Nashville’s [1] best barbecue houses. Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint (7215 Nolensville Pike, 615/776-1856, Tues.–Sat. 11 a.m.–8 p.m., $3.50–20.50) has pulled pork, barbecue spareribs, smoked wings, and beef brisket, plus all the side dishes you could want: coleslaw, green beans, potato salad, and the best corncakes this side of town. You can also order burgers and a mean catfish po-boy. Martin’s is located inside the Nolensville city limits, about 30 minutes’ drive south from downtown Nashville.
