The finest shopping mall in Nashville [1] is the Mall at Green Hills, an indoor mall located about 15 minutes’ drive south from downtown Nashville along Hillsboro Road. Stores include Macy’s, Dillard’s, Tiffany & Co., and Davis-Kidd Booksellers. The mall has spawned additional shopping opportunities nearby, so this is a good place to head if you’re in need of just about anything. Call the mall concierge (615/298-5478, ext. 22) to find out if your favorite store is there.
Farther south of Nashville [1], at the Moore’s Lane exit off I-65, is Cool Springs Galleria (1800 Galleria Blvd., 615/731-6255, www.coolspringsgalleria.com [2]), the newest mall in the area. Four major department stores anchor the mall, which includes 100 specialty shops. The mall is surrounded by acres more of drive-up shopping centers and restaurants.
Heading west from town on Highway 70, you’ll run into Bellevue Center (7620 U.S. 70, 615/646-8690), where you’ll find Dillard’s, Sears, Hecht’s, and more than 115 specialty shops. Many Nashvillians consider this the city’s best mall.
