If you need a place to stay near the airport, you can’t get any closer than the Radisson Inn Memphis Airport (2411 Winchester Rd., 901/332-2370, $90–125), which is right next door. In addition to offering a pool and fitness center, this hotel will shuttle you to the airport terminal for free.
Another airport option is the Holiday Inn Select Memphis Airport (2240 Democrat Rd., 901/332-1130, $85–130), which caters to business travelers. There is a guest laundry, free airport shuttle, room service, business center, and good fitness room.
You can’t sleep much closer to Graceland [1] than the Days Inn at Graceland (3839 Elvis Presley Blvd., 901/346-5500, $70–110), one of the most well-worn properties in the venerable Days Inn chain. The hotel has amped up the Elvis kitsch; you can tune into free non-stop Elvis movies or swim in a guitar-shaped pool. There is a free continental breakfast. Book early for Elvis Week [2].
