You can sleep where Elvis slept at
Lauderdale Courts (185 Winchester, www.lauderdalecourts.com [1], $250). The one-time housing project where Elvis and his parents lived after they moved to Memphis [2] from Mississippi is now a neat midtown apartment complex. The rooms where the Presleys lived have been restored to their 1950s greatness, and guests can use the working 1951 Frigidaire.
The rooms are decorated with Presley family photographs and other Elvis memorabilia. You can rent Lauderdale Courts No. 328 for up to six nights. It sleeps up to four adults. The rooms are not rented during Elvis Week [3] in August or his birthday week in January when the suite is open for public viewing for $10 per person.
