Overton Park

Located in midtown Memphis [1], Overton Park (1928 Poplar Ave.) is the best all-around park the city has to offer. This 342-acre park has a nine-hole golf course, nature trails through the woods, bike trails, an outdoor amphitheater (called the Overton Park Shell, which is undergoing a major restoration), and lots of green, open spaces.

The park shares space with the Memphis Zoo [2] and the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art [3], making the area a popular destination for city residents and visitors.
