The San Diego County Fair (2260 Jimmy Durant Blvd, Del Mar, 858/755-1161, www.sdfair.com [1], June–July) runs for several weeks every summer and boasts being one of the very best in the state. Naturally it’s held at the famed Del Mar County Fairgrounds [2], which were purposely built for this celebration of San Diego [3] agriculture.
