The Madison Valley Public Library (210 E. Main St., 406/682-7244) may be the only library that lends fishing rods as well as books!
The Ennis Chamber of Commerce (406/682-4388, www.ennischamber.com [1]) is a good source of general information about Ennis [2] and member businesses. The area around Ennis is part of the Beaverhead Deer Lodge National Forest.
The local ranger station (just west of town at 5 Forest Service Rd., 406/682-4253, www.fs.fed.us/r1/b-d [3]) has maps and information on recreation and camping.
