Dixon, a small town on Highway 200 west of Ravalli at the southwestern edge of the National Bison Range [1], is noted for its bar. The Dixon Bar has the longest-standing liquor license in the state of Montana, and in October 1970 had the distinction of having three poems about it appear on one page of The New Yorker magazine. Stop by and ask the bartender to let you read them.
