Located at Dallas Love Field, the Frontiers of Flight Museum (6911 Lemmon Ave., 214/350-3600, www.flightmuseum.com [1], Mon.–Sat. 10 a.m.–5 p.m., Sun. 1 p.m.–5 p.m., $8 adults, $6 children age 3–17) features aircraft from roughly the past 100 years. The museum covers everything from early aircraft of the 1920s to jets and rockets of the first decade of the new millennium.
Of particular interest is the Lighter than Air exhibit, which pays homage to the zeppelins and giant blimps of the past.
