A little oasis of Asian-inflected organic food in a chain-restaurant part of town, 
Mu Du Noodles (1494 Cerrillos Rd., 505/983-1411, 5:30–9:30 p.m. Tues.–Sat., $18) cuts the strip-mall glare with warm-hued walls and bamboo screens. The menu ranges from Central Asia to Japan, offering lamb pot stickers, coconutty and spicy Malaysian laksa, and Indian yellow curry along the way. Reviving citrus-ade with ginger is delicious hot or cold, or you can order beer or wine.
