Condos come in studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, three-bedroom, and townhouse sizes, sleeping up to eight people. The interiors boast stunning appointments, from snow-white down comforters to granite-topped kitchen counters to 60-inch flat-screen TVs. Bathrooms include deep soaking tubs, perfect to privately relax aching muscles after a long day on the slopes.

The resort also features heated pools year-round and three outdoor heated spas—there’s nothing like jumping into a steaming hot tub on a snowy evening, then jumping back out to find the cold perfect and refreshing. The Talon restaurant serves breakfast and lunch, and the Daily Grind offers coffee and take-out snacks.

Juniper Springs is located next door to the Eagle Lodge, which serves as one of the Mammoth Mountain [2] base lodges complete with a six-person express chair up to the main ski area. You can rent skis right inside the hotel, and ski back down to Juniper after a day on the slopes. In the summertime, Juniper Springs’ proximity to local golfing and the Mammoth Mountain bike park make it a perfect retreat.

This complex boasts an array of all two-bedroom units, some of which sleep up to six people. Every individual building has its own outdoor spa, and the complex has a heated pool and a sauna. Every condo is decorated differently (and you might be able to buy and redecorate one if you want to and have enough cash). Check the website for photos to find what you like—big stone everywhere, wood paneling, gentle cream walls, or even red-and-green holiday-themed furniture. Walk to the ski lifts, or enjoy a round of golf or day of fishing in the summertime.
