Hiking

Several fabulous hikes lurk in Sonoma County. One of the best of these is the easy, two-mile Overlook Trail. You can reach this trail from the center of downtown Sonoma by following First Street West to the Veteran’s Hall and Cemetery, then looking for the signs describing the trail route.

As you walk this gentle path, you’ll get fabulous views of Sonoma [1], plus the chance to see the locals out on a favorite jogging route. In wetter (or recently wet) weather, wear sturdy hiking boots to combat the clay.
