More than 50 years ago, the Lincoln Theatre (100 California Dr., Yountville, 707/944-1300, www.lincolntheatre.org [1]) ran its first show at the Veterans Home in Yountville. Today, a packed year-round season brings top-end live entertainment of all kinds to the Wine Country [2].
You can get tickets to touring Broadway shows, locally produced plays, stand-up comedy, dance productions, music nights, and more. Many of the productions at the Lincoln welcome family audiences.
Though this large theater seats hundreds, purchase tickets in advance if you can—especially for one-night-only special performances or if you’ll be in the area only over one weekend. Ticket prices range $10–125, depending on the seats and the show.
The theater recommends arriving half an hour in advance of show time, to ensure that you’ve got time to park your car, walk from the parking lot, and find your seat before the curtain goes up.
