Here, you can savor a cappuccino and one of her goodies as you watch the surfers conquering the waves.
Carmen has aquired some competition at Baguettería Vivaldi (middle of beachfront Av. Pérez Gasga, across the street from the Hotel Casa Blanca, tel. 954/582-0800, 7:30 a.m.–11 p.m. daily), the labor of love of friendly Jenny Sinnhuber, who, besides lots of homemade bread, serves a wide selection of delicious breakfasts and sandwiches for lunch.
You can also get your day started right with breakfast, while watching the beachfront scene, at leafy Restaurant Los Crotos (on the adoquín, west end, tel. 954/582-0025, open daily 8 a.m.–11 p.m., $4–12).
