To date there are only two hotels in the Gamboa [1] area, but both are impressive, if expensive, places that are destinations in themselves—the Gamboa Rainforest Resort [2], though the Canopy Tower [3].
The only restaurants open to nonguests are at the Gamboa Rainforest Resort, though the Canopy Tower sometimes offers day passes that include a meal.
It’s also possible to camp in Parque Nacional Soberanía [4], but there are no facilities and this is a true tropical forest, with all the potential discomfort that implies.
