Mexico 3 is a two-lane state highway that begins in Tecate [1], follows the foothills of the Sierra de Juárez to the Valle del Guadalupe Wine Country [2], and ends near Ensenada [3]. This route makes a longer but pleasant alternative to the coastal road from Tijuana [4].
