For the freshest fruits and vegetables, check out the mercado principal (Circuito Baluartes Este at Calle 57), which is open daily 5 a.m.–4 p.m.
A large supermarket, Super San Francisco (Calle 51 between Av. Adolfo Ruiz Cortínez and Av. Pedro Sainz de Baranda, 7 a.m.–10 p.m. daily) sells the usual foods and household items. It also has a small pharmacy just inside its doors.
