Chichén Itzá [1] puts on a nightly high-tech sound and light show at 7 p.m. (winter hours) and 8 p.m. (summer hours). The fee to enter is included in the general admission, although if you’d like to see the show the night before you visit the ruins, you can pay for the light show portion of the ticket (US$4.50) in advance. Just be sure to let the salesperson know that you would like to buy a half ticket and save the stub so that you’re not double-charged the next day.
The show is presented in Spanish. For an additional US$2.25 you can rent earphones with translations in English, French, and German.
