For Mexican folk art and crafts, drop in on the open-air artesanía market held in the plaza in front of the Casa de la Cultura (Calle 80 at Calle 25, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.) whenever there’s a cruise ship in town, typically Monday, Tuesday, and/or Wednesday.
Plaza Del Mar (Calle 27 between Calles 76 and 78, 8 a.m.–10 p.m.) is a small shopping center with T-shirt shops, a few clothing boutiques, a food court, and a supermarket.
