An expatriate institution, 3 Alleys is arguably the closest thing Seoul [2] has to a traditional British-style pub, with its long wooden bar, snug booths, and a front-room sitting area complete with fireplace.
It’s got one of the city’s widest selections of draft and bottled beers and Scotch whiskeys, many offered at significantly lower prices than you’d find elsewhere in town. The food is also good and reasonably priced, though it doesn’t stretch far beyond pub standards like chicken wings and fish and chips.
Diversions including darts, pool and quiz nights, and classic rock-heavy music collection are on hand to keep punters occupied.
Service can be an issue—wait staff have been criticized for being both indifferent and overly attentive—and others may feel out of place among the largely older, male crowd that frequents the venue. But overall this is a convivial, reliable place to check in for a few pints.
