Jade on 36 is the restaurant of the Pudong Shangri-La [1]. It offers contemporary French fine dining paired with a great view and some incredible interior design. The pink- and green-hued interior with its marble floor was created by New York designer Adam Tihany.

French chef Paul Pairet helmed the kitchen when Jade first opened, but handed it over to German Fabrice Giraud in 2008. Giraud’s menu changes seasonally, but features staples like pan-fried black cod and tenderloin of beef.

Sunday brunch runs 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m.; the Jade on 36 bar is open until 2 a.m. on weekends and 1 a.m. during the week.
