The food of China’s near neighbor South Korea is well executed at this Nanluoguxiang restaurant. There are around 100,000 Koreans in Beijing, and Saveurs de Corée is their best option for luxury cuisine at reasonable prices.
Stylish decor with glass walls and wood accents creates a funky, contemporary atmosphere to enjoy classics like kimchi and bibimbap. A tranquil, slate-tiled, rooftop seating area overlooks the low hutong roofs.
The food is organic and locally sourced wherever possible, and MSG is banned from the kitchen. Set menus are available. If you’re looking for a barbecue-style meal you will be disappointed, but for other Korean dishes this is a great choice.
